A competent reading of a Doginal has five layers. Skip one and you will either overpay or under-describe. Suitable for a JPEG, a GIF, a one-line joke, or a DRC-20 mint.
Five layers
- Bytes and MIME type — what was actually pushed. Never trust a thumbnail.
- Envelope completeness — did multipart / chained parts count down to zero?
- Binding — which UTXO carries it now? Is the wallet about to spend it as fee?
- Indexer window — which program numbered it, and from which height?
- Catalogue — is it historically first, aesthetically worth hanging, or only a mint receipt?
