Dogecoin’s consensus is mechanical: valid scripts, sufficient proof-of-work, no double spends. Doginals consensus is social: enough indexers, wallets, and markets using the same rules that a buyer will accept the object. When those groups split — as they did over DOGI — you do not get a chain split. You get two shops that will not honor each other’s tickets.

The rule

Always name the rule-set. “I hold 1000 DOGI” is incomplete. “I hold 1000 DOGI as computed by indexer X at height Y” is a sentence a sceptic can check. Luxury, here, is completeness.
